India Meteorological Department forecasts an above-normal southwest monsoon, expected to be 105% of the long-period average.
IMD has issued its first long-range forecast for the 2025 southwest monsoon. The cumulative rainfall over the country during the June-September season is most likely to be above normal (105% ± 5% of LPA). Good news for kharif planning.
