🪨 Soil: Loam / clay-loam

Sow before 25 November — late sowing meets heat at grain time and cuts yield.
Zero-till drilling into paddy stubble saves water, diesel and lets you sow on time.
One light watering during a heat spell at grain-filling protects grain weight.
Grow a mix of rust-resistant varieties to slow down disease.
Sell clean, dry, graded grain — extra moisture and dust cut your price.
