Indicative figures for typical conditions — your actual costs and prices will vary.

🪨 Soil: Sandy-loam, well-drained

Gypsum at pegging fills pods better and improves kernel quality.
Dry the pods fast and store them dry — damp pods invite aflatoxin and rejection.
Do not delay harvest — over-ripe pods detach and stay buried in the soil.
Loose, crust-free soil at pegging is a must for pods to form.
Treat for white grub early where it is common, or it hollows out the crop.
